Update #2: your instructor certificate stays valid for 12 months

We’re also updating the rules governing the Revas Instructor Certificate starting in September.

The certificate now remains valid for 12 months from the date of the instructor’s most recent game order. As long as instructors continue ordering games, their certificate stays valid without any separate renewal process. In fact, each new game order automatically extends the certificate’s validity for another 12 months. Therefore, this change is especially relevant for teachers who use Revas consistently, year after year.

Certification requirements for newly trained instructors are changing as well. Starting in September, earning the certificate requires meeting two conditions. Specifically, instructors must complete the certification training and place a first game order using a minimum of 10 license keys.

As a result, teachers who regularly use Revas do not need to manage a separate certificate renewal process.

Update #3: you decide when the game ends

Starting in September, Revas gives teachers even greater flexibility in running the simulation.

When setting up a game, instructors can now specify the round after which the simulation should end. Moreover, the number of rounds can be adjusted mid-game if students want to keep playing.

This gives teachers full control over how a lesson unfolds. Because game length can be adjusted during the simulation, teachers are not locked into the number of rounds selected when the game was created.

Overall, this makes it easy to tailor the simulation’s length to the number of class periods available, the pace of the group, and student engagement.
