Very cool solution for business lessons. A great idea to awaken the feeling of being entrepreneurial.
The proposal to conduct classes in the form of a simulation game found the great enthusiasm of the users, especially since it was an alternative to studying legal acts and theoretical issues in written form. Here they could face “almost” practice and not theory, they slowly realized that the analysis of sales results had something to do with the rules of demand and supply and the market mechanism. For some, this analysis was easy, for others more difficult.
This form of conducting classes and learning market rules and economic issues caused great commitment among students, they came to every simulation class and when they could not, they knew that they could catch up at home remotely. The users who “did not sin”, diligently attended classes and were very involved, 45 minutes of classes were passing imperceptibly and it was already the 7th lesson period. The work motivated them to cooperate in a team-company but also to help each other (between the teams-companies) explaining what and how to do (despite the competition in the game). The ranking checked after each session aroused great emotions.
To conclude, the users have praised this game and the way of conducting classes, even the poorly performing students have shown that they can cope “on the market” and put a lot of effort to make such decisions that will improve their ranking result. There was no time to be bored.
