This is yet another confirmation of how practical and innovative solutions are important for entrepreneurship and business education in today’s education system.

What is the Education Alliance Finland quality certificate?

The Education Alliance Finland is a team of researchers and educators from Finland who evaluate educational products in terms of what they really teach and how they do it, as well as their innovation, user commitment possibilities and ease of use. The evaluation is based on global quality standards and international curricula. The methodology was developed by researchers from the University of Helsinki, which, taking into account the international prestige of the Finnish education system, provides a reliable evaluation of the effectiveness of educational tools.

Excellent results of Revas Business Simulations Games

Revas Business Simulations Games received a very high score both in terms of pedagogical approach, receiving 91 out of 100 points, as well as committing in learning receiving 4.12 out of 5 possible points.

Moreover, the evaluators indicated a set of skills that can be developed using Revas Business Simulations Games. The vast majority are business and entrepreneurial skills, i.e. regarding the areas of company management, marketing, economy, finance and accounting. When managing a virtual company, the participants learn, e.g., how to forecast revenues and costs, plan recruitment needs, and react to changes in the company’s environment. Economic games also significantly contribute to the development of skills in the life and career category. The virtual business environment provides the space for decision making training, searching for cause and effect relationships between decisions and company’s results, or social skills developing. Moreover, thanks to the simulations, it is possible to combine the knowledge obtained at school with the skills needed in real life. Also in the field of science and innovation the participants can develop their strategic thinking and problem solving, as well as learn how to take responsibility for results. And thanks to the fact that everything occurs in a virtual reality, the participation also serves to develop the ICT skills.

The evaluators pointed out that to achieve success in the simulation, hard work, cooperation and decision making, which makes learning very effective are needed. Adding to the above rivalry between teams, we get a science formula that guarantees commitment and lasting motivation in the pursuit of ever better results.

The EAF also appreciated the flexibility of using economic games in various types of classes. Depending on how advanced the participants are, the simulation trainer can use the decisions and examples contained in the simulation to explain economic and business terms. He/she can also easily control the pace of the game and its schedule.
