New features in Revas Simulations – more opportunities for trainers

We are continuously developing our simulations to ensure that every user can enjoy them in the most comfortable and tailored way possible. Recently, we have introduced several improvements that will significantly streamline the organization of games and enhance the effectiveness of educational work.

Thanks to the new features:

Instructors gain more control over the course of the game, allowing for better adaptation of the teaching process to the participant group.
Organizing games becomes simpler and more intuitive, making it easier to manage scenarios and the flow of simulations.
The daily work of instructors is even more convenient, and the preparation and execution of classes is faster and more efficient.

Ordering a game for teams of different sizes

If your group cannot be divided into equal teams, you can now place an order for exactly the configuration you need. We’ve added an additional step in the game ordering process where you can freely adjust the number of keys in each team.

Game rollback

Have you ever accidentally moved the game to the next round too quickly?
Now, you can roll back the game by 1 round yourself.

However, keep in mind 3 important things regarding the ability to roll back the game:

If teams have already made decisions in the current round, rolling back the round will permanently delete all those decisions. Make sure that teams haven’t made decisions yet in the current round or are aware that they will lose them.
If you roll back the game and at least one team changes their decisions, the scorecard will also change when the game is moved back to the next round.
You can only roll back the game by one round, and only once per round. For example, if you are currently in round three and roll the game back to round two, once you move it back to round three, you won’t be able to return to round two again. You also cannot roll back from round three to round one.

Editing team compositions and removing empty keys

If you find that you need to make changes after ordering the game, such as adding a team or person to a team, swapping players between teams, or removing empty keys, you can now do this yourself in the instructor panel.

In the license key window (accessible by clicking the key icon in the main panel next to the game), you will find a new option – Edit Teams. This allows you to:

Add key – Assign an additional license key to the selected team, allowing new people to join.
Remove person – Disconnect a player from the game and free up the assigned license key. This key can then be reassigned to another person or completely removed.
Remove key – Completely remove a key from a team and return it to the pool of available license keys.
Add team – Create a new team with the same number of keys as in the original order.

Keep in mind, the changes mentioned above can only be made in the first round. In subsequent rounds, editing is no longer possible.

New section: Licenses and Certificates

In the Business Management simulation, you can choose one of 20 thematic industries – each of them is a separate simulation based on the realities of a specific market. Thanks to this, participants not only learn how to make business decisions, but they do so in an environment that feels relevant and engaging.

Among the available industries, you will find:

New section – Group Results

In the “Group Reports” section, you can generate scorecards from multiple games into an excel sheet.

From your list of games, select the ones you want to include in the report and choose which round it should apply to. After clicking “Create report,” an excel sheet will be downloaded containing two sheets – the scorecard and the cumulative scorecard.
